Dean's Greeting
This coming February marks the beginning of yet another exciting semester here at the Apostles Theological Seminary. 2010 has seen a number of dramatic additions and improvements to our unique, one-of-a-kind program of theological and ministerial training. ATS recently announced the addition of Dr. Marie Howard to our Senior Leadership Team as Vice President of Administration and Dean of Admissions. We also welcomed Dr. Jim Bradshaw on board as Dean of the School of Ministry and Applied Theology. In addition to these outstanding new members of the Senior Leadership Team, we have also updated and expanded our Course Catalog and posted the Course Requirements for our outstanding degree programs in Apostolic and Prophetic Studies, including the course requirements for the newly added Associates Degree. (For specific details of the Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral Degrees, please see the Areas of Study page).
Excitement is building as I review the schedule of current course offerings and our rapidly growing student body enrollment for 2011. If you have not yet done so, please take the time to review the Currently Offered Courses page. Once there, you can read a detailed description of each of the 21 available enrollment choices. (Note that ATS courses are only offered as the faculty overseer is available to evaluate student assignments and guide class discussions via forums and chat rooms.)
Now, it is with joy I introduce our faculty for the coming semester and their respective courses.
ATS Chancellor, Bishop George E. Kouri is again offering 4 of his signature courses. These have been widely acclaimed by former students and so they are being carried over into 2011. They are: AD250, Non-Negotiables of Apostolic Christianity, AM350, Prophetic Models For Apostolic Reformation, NT461, Last Days According to Jesus and the Prophets, and AM 250, Work of Apostles and Apostolic Companies in the 21st Century. These are powerful and provocative studies that he is often asked to present in conferences and seminars around the world.
In addition to these, Chancellor Kouri is also making available the following from all 4 degree levels: AD 300 Recovering the Keys of the Kingdom, Biblical Requirements for an Apostolic Reformation, AD 504 Kingdom Theology II, The Covenants and The Christ, AD 700 Gospel of the King & Transformation of Governments and Nations, AM 130 Spiritual Fatherhood, Fathering Offspring Unto God, AM 207 God’s Agenda for the 21st Century, AM 270 Heart of Apostolic Ministry, and AM 504 The New Apostolic Reformation.
In addition to Brother Kouri, I am very proud to present two of my favorite subjects, AI 102 The Canon of Holy Scriptures and NT464 The Eschatology of the Apostle Paul.
Other outstanding instructors and courses include: Apostle Manfred N. Peigan, EM400 Native Religions, Indigenous Peoples, and Christian Mission, Apostle Rodney Seago, AD 501 Messiah’s Day, AM 410 Impreccatory Psalms, Praying the Justice Prayers of the Church, and NT 463 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, Dr. Jim Bradshaw, AM190 Spiritual Formation for Church Life, Bishop Alexander Chisango, CIV 101 Apostolic Architecture and Kingdom Dominion, and Professor Brent Daub, AM 207 Conflict Management and Resolution in Church Life.
As you review these course offerings (Currently Offered Courses), you will agree that each course is essential in preparing Kingdom leaders for the 21st century. Together this dynamic company of teachers is offering a challenging curriculum of courses for students desiring to prepare themselves to serve Christ's Kingdom and the present move of God throughout the earth. Even if you have yet to determine which ATS degree you are working towards completing, you should go online and register today.
As Academic Dean of ATS I personally invite you to become an active participant in our global community of apostles, prophets, fivefold ministers and students, not only enrolling in our outstanding courses and degree programs, but also participating regularly in the Online Resource Center on our ATS Home page. Please write me with your questions. I am here to serve you and help you make the most of this outstanding learning environment.
Welcome to ATS and may God bless you, increasing your knowledge of His Kingdom purpose, and fulfill His destiny for your life.
