Chancellor's Welcome

On behalf of the leadership and faculty of ATS, welcome to our global campus.

The culmination of years of preparation by the Holy Spirit and diligent labor in the ministry of the Word of God, the senior leadership and core faculty of the Apostles Theological Seminary are without apology apostolic and prophetic. (Just for the record, we are also evangelical and pastoral.) But we are apostolic and prophetic because we are committed to the restoration of Kingdom foundations (the faith of God entrusted by Jesus to the original apostles and prophets of the first century), the reformation of the Lord's Church upon the basis of Kingdom faith as one apostolic and prophetic church worldwide, and the establishment of Christ's Kingdom (the King's dominion) in the governments, cities, and nations of the whole earth! To this end our leadership team and faculty are dedicated to training a radical and relevant generation of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, and Kingdom leaders for the 21st century.

ATS offers the Bachelor, Master, and Doctor of Apostolic and Prophetic Studies With Ministry Specialization in the students area of grace-gifting or calling. However, instead of a ministry specialization, an ATS student may choose to concentrate in a specific area of study such as Biblical Studies, Apostles Doctrine, Church History, Theology, Christian Civilization, and etc.

Our comprehensive and unparalleled curriculum, comprised of more than three hundred courses, organized into eleven different schools or disciplines of study is Biblically sound, historically and theologically accurate, and ministerially relevant to the needs of the 21st century. Our specially designed core courses located in the Ern Baxter School of the Apostles Doctrine, Church History, and Theology are aimed at helping ATS students rediscover, master, and effectively minister the revelation of the mysteries of Christ, His Kingdom, and Church entrusted by the Lord Jesus to the original apostles of the first century. The New Testament writers call this revelatory core of knowledge, the Gospel of the kingdom, the form of sound words, the testimony of Jesus, the doctrine of the apostles, and the faith once for all delivered to the Saints. The senior leaders and faculty of ATS have included Church History and Theology in the School of the Apostles Doctrine because we are persuaded that the history of the Church and the many diverse and often contradictory systems or schools of theology should be studied, carefully evaluated, and judged in light of the foundational revelation entrusted by Jesus to His apostles and preserved for us in the Canon of the New Testament. This foundational revelation entrusted to the first apostles is the true measure of the Lord's Church!

In addition to the Ern Baxter School of the Apostles' Doctrine, Church History and Theology we also have the School of Biblical Studies, the School of Ministry and Applied Theology, the School of Biblical Languages, the School of Christian Civilization, Transformation of Culture and Social Issues, and six other schools or departments of study.  To insure balance and breath of knowledge in all those trained by ATS, our degree programs are carefully designed and developed from an array of courses selected from these eleven schools.

Also, in addition to our proven and unparalleled curriculum, our seasoned leadership team and faculty, the Apostles Theological Seminary earnestly seeks to serve the Christ's Kingdom and the apostolic reformation of His global Church as an online resource center providing news of special gatherings and events, hosting chat rooms, strategic forums, round tables, apostolic summits and congresses, and posting articles, pod-casts, and book reviews.

Whether you are an experienced minister looking to enhance your ministry and increase your usefulness to the King, or a young minister just starting out, as Chancellor of ATS, I wholeheartedly invite you to join our global community of  faculty and students of the Apostles Theological Seminary. Let our leadership team work with you to determine the right course of study or the right degree program custom designed to develop, strengthen, and enhance your ministry gift and calling. Also, visit our online campus regularly; let us become a strategic resource center for your ministry and sphere of influence in His Kingdom.

The Protestant Reformation of the 16th century led by Martin Luther, John Calvin and others succeeded in large measure because of the invention of the printing press. Other servants of God had raised their voices before them seeking to reform the Church, only to fall in the fires of martyrdom. The printing press made the difference, enabling Luther, Calvin and others to spread their message of reform throughout their world. Today, because of modern technology (the computer chip, the World-wide Web and the Internet), it is possible for the Apostles Theological Seminary to be both mobile and global, and serve the Lord’s Kingdom and the reformation of His Church throughout the whole earth by training a radical and relevant generation of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, and Kingdom leaders for the 21st century.

The Apostles Theological Seminary is without apology an apostolic mission! We are not in the business of education. My statement is not intended as a slap at anyone in that business. However, ATS is involved in the mission of training a new generation of ministers for the Kingdom! In March 2003 the Lord instructed our senior leadership team and core faculty to build a leadership training engine to train Kingdom leaders for the 21st Century and raise a new generation of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for an apostolic reformation of His Church.  As a result of our Lord's mandate, ATS was formed and all of our courses and degree programs are offered without charge to anyone who desires to equip himself to serve Christ's Kingdom whether in fivefold ministry or in the marketplace.  With the exception of a one-time registration or enrollment fee for those desiring credit for our courses towards one of our degrees, our outstanding courses and unique degree programs are available free of charge to all students wherever there is Internet connection. Of course this includes the Third or Developing World, where there is a deep hunger for revelation knowledge of Christ's Kingdom and an apostolic reformation of His Church. Many of our current students are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers actively involved in ministry and the work of the Kingdom in cities throughout the Continent of Africa and India.

(ATS reserves the right to wave the one-time registration fee for desrving students who are unable to pay it. We are also in the process of developing correspondence courses for all of our core courses for geographic areas where Internet access is either difficult or too expensive for our students to access.)

Because we do not charge tuition for our courses or degree programs our ability to fulfill our apostolic mandate is dependent upon the partnership of mission-minded pastors and churches moved by His Spirit to include us in their mission budget, as well as, the generous donations and gifts of individual patrons and benefactors. Whether you are the senior pastor of a local church, head of a jurisdiction of churches, or an individual believer who has a heart to see Christ's Kingdom established and His Church reformed and enabled to fulfill it's global mission, please allow me, on behalf of the ATS leadership and faculty, as well as the many students worldwide whose ministries and churches are benefiting from the training being made available through ATS, invite you to become a covenant partner with us in fulfilling our apostolic mandate to raise up a new generation of Kingdom leaders for the 21st Century.
