General Requirements

The Apostles Theological Seminary grants degrees to students completing an online regimen of study in any of four distance learning programs comprised of pertinent courses from our eleven schools or departments of study. All four ATS degree programs are based upon the intensive study of the revelation of Christ and His Kingdom entrusted to the Apostles of the first century. Upon successful completion of a specific degree program, the graduate will receive an Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Apostolic and Prophetic Studies with a Ministry Specialization in the student's area of grace gifting and calling. Instead of a ministry specialization, an ATS student may choose to concentrate in a specific area of interest such as Biblical Studies, Apostles Doctrine, Church History, Theology, Christian Civilization, and etc.

Please note: Letters and numbers (AD250, AM350, etc.) used to identify courses under the degree requirements below constitute a short name for a particular course. The letters stand for the school or department in which a particular course is located, and the numbers stand for the degree level. (Click on ATS Course Catalog for the names of our 11 Schools or Departments of Study and to review a comprehensive listing of ATS courses.)

Also, the expressions first year, second year, third year, and so forth used in the description of courses required for our four degrees are based upon the traditional approach to education followed by brick and mortar schools, however, since ATS is an online seminary and our courses are archived, students may work at their own pace, as long as the faculty overseer for a particular course is available to manage the course and grade the work done. Therefore the length of time required to receive a degree is dependent upon how much time a student has to devote to course work and the availability of faculty overseers.

Affordable

Because ATS is an apostolic mission, it's course tuition and degree programs are affordable.

In March of 2003 the Lord mandated our Chancellor to build a leadership training engine to train a new generation of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the 21st Century. As a result of this mandate from the Lord, ATS courses are offered at affordable tuition to anyone who desires to equip himself to serve Christ and His Kingdom.

In order to attract attention to our unique degree programs and recruit new students our regular ATS tuition has been temporarily suspended. Please refer to the Taste and See Pricing above:

The regular Tuition for all four of our outstanding degree programs is well below the national average of tuition for theological or ministerial training. Tuition for courses taken for credit towards the Associates Degree is $100.00 per credit hour; the Bachelor's Degree is $200.00 per hour; the Master's Degree is $300.00 per hour, and the Doctorate is $400.00 per hour.

However, in a recent ATS Senior leadership meeting it was decided that with the world's economy in upheaval we should offer a Stimulus Package to make ATS even more affordable and to encourage those called to five-fold ministry to pursue ongoing theological and ministerial education and training.

To encourage fivefold ministers and ministerial candidates to move forward with their ministerial training this stimulus package includes:

1) A 50% DISCOUNT ON COURSE TUITION on ATS Courses for all four of our outstanding degrees (Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral).

For a limited time period the tuition for the Associate's degree has been reduced to
$50.00 per credit hour, the Bachelor's Degree to $100.00 per credit hour, the Master's Degree to $150.00 per credit hour, and the Doctoral Degree to $200.00 per credit hour. Note: All ATS courses are three hour courses.

These discounted prices will apply throughout the entire degree program of all ATS students who take advantage of this limited offer.

Also for all those not interested in receiving academic credit towards an ATS degree, the regular cost for auditing our courses is $150.00. But with the present 50% discount, the cost for auditing has been reduced to $75.00 a course.

2) In addition to the 50% discount on our tuition we are also GRANTING SCHOLARSHIPS to every student accepted into ATS.

ATS scholarships range from the 100% Chancellor's Scholarships covering full tuition (which is only granted to deserving students) to the 50% or 25% scholarships applied towards the already greatly reduced tuition costs. (the amount of the scholarship awarded will depend upon the student's financial situation or need.)

First-time students must apply for scholarships through the Admissions Office and supply appropriate financial information upon request.

3) Finally, in addition to the 50% discount and scholarships, our NO-INTEREST FINANCING program completes the ATS STIMULUS PACKAGE.

Our interest-free financial program makes it possible for anyone desiring to earn an Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree degree in Apostolic & Prophetic Studies to do so for as little as $100.00 a month.

In addition to tuition there are two one-time charges required of all students wishing to receive course credit towards one of our ATS degrees. Both of these have been discount for a limited period of time.

First, there is a one-time registration fee of $50.00 to cover costs of paying the registrar to evaluate and create transcripts. This has temporarily been reduced to $25.00.

Second, there is a
$300.00 one-time only Life Learning Portfolio Fee for any student who wishes to have his or her life learning or work experience evaluated for credit towards an ATS degree. This has temporarily been reduced to $150.00.

There is also a $100.00 Graduation Fee.
